Writing Centre Consultant/ Adjunct Instructor

 

The American University of Malta invites a consultant or adjunct instructor for running the Writing Centre at the University. 

We expect the consultant will provide editing advice or consultation to students concerning their writing assignments in various courses. The consultation aims to get the student to become their own best editor by equipping the student with the tools necessary to both identify and correct writing errors.

 

A consultant should be available on-campus for five regularly scheduled hours per week, spread over at least four days of the week or make themselves available online (in Teams) at those same regularly scheduled hours, for the benefit only of those students who attend classes remotely

 

We are expecting applicants with the following qualification:

· Specialist in English language (Master’s degree required) 

· Similar Experience will be an advantage  

· Candidate should be based/ able to come in Malta and legally eligible to provide service
