The American University of Malta is looking to recruit three senior, experienced and successful individuals into strategic posts to advance the institution’s progress following a period of establishment as a new private university in the stunning location of Bormla, Malta. Key areas of responsibility:
Developing a student recruitment strategy including growing the team both on-campus and in-country
Targeting strategy – identification of key target markets globally, underpinning strategy and activities with data, providing performance targets
Student recruitment strategy – target markets, marketing campaigns, recruitment fairs, leveraging collaborations, enhancement projects – study abroad.
Budgetary management for student recruitment - advising on budgetary levels and allocation to projects
Liaising with the graphic design and admissions staff and working with out-sourcing partners to produce digital in-country campaigns.
Managing the Admissions staff and taking responsibility for their training and development
Website management, content management, website performance management
Brand protocols, delegating and outsourcing promo material production
Line managing the Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, Admissions staff and coordinating their work with AUM events and web content and taking responsibility for graphic design, admissions and marketing staff, performance review, training and development.
Working closely with the Vice President International Affairs and Vice President Academic Affairs to support curriculum development and leverage existing resources to produce impactful portfolios and student recruitment strategies.
Term of employment is for an initial 3-year period with a 6-month probation period.
Salary is negotiable and will be offered at a level appropriate to experience, qualifications and track record. Candidates should demonstrate a good level of formal education (undergraduate degree or better), as well as relevant postgraduate qualifications and training in university management. They should also be able to demonstrate a track record of success in student recruitment, marketing and admissions management in the university sector.
