The American University of Malta is looking to recruit three senior, experienced and successful individuals into strategic posts to advance the institution’s progress following a period of establishment as a new private university in the stunning location of Bormla, Malta. Key areas of responsibility:
Developing, implementing and monitoring international strategy including: integrating university and industry partnerships, study abroad opportunities, student recruitment, recruitment agency agreements
Admissions and student application management
Student recruitment strategy and student recruitment budgetary oversight
International academic and industrial partnerships
Marketing strategy including digital marketing.
External relations, public relations, marketing strategy and digital marketing strategy oversight.
Line manager for Director of Student Recruitment and Marketing and Director of Admissions
Working closely with the University Executive and in staff meetings as required
Undertaking a teaching and research workload in any core area of university work
Deputizing for the University President as required.
Term of employment is for an initial 3-year period with a 6-month probation period.
Salary is negotiable and will be offered at a level appropriate to experience, qualifications and track record. Candidates must be experienced international academic staff with a strong research and publications record, Doctoral level qualifications and a track record of success at senior leadership levels in university education.
